Terms of Use

1. The agreement

By installing or using AssetVault (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

The App is published by CRL Digital ("we," "us"). For App Store / Apple-distributed installs, the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these terms. For Google Play installs, Google Play's terms apply.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the platform-specific terms above.

3. Your data

Your inventory data — items, photos, serial numbers, values, documents — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores it. You are responsible for backing it up. Use Settings → Backup or Settings → Full Export at any time, at any tier, to take everything with you.

4. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

Pro — one-time purchase ($19.99 USD)

Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. Once unlocked it stays unlocked on your account, including reinstalls and new devices that share the same Apple ID / Google account. There is no recurring charge. Pricing in non-USD territories is set by Apple or Google's local-currency tier and may vary slightly from a direct conversion.

Collector+ — auto-renewing subscription ($9.99 USD / month)

Price: $9.99 USD per month (price in your local currency may vary; the exact charge is shown on the App Store / Play Store purchase confirmation).

Auto-renewal: the subscription continues until canceled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

How to manage and cancel:

If you cancel Collector+, you keep read access to anything you previously created with Collector+ features (AI Pre-Grade history, Condition Timeline). Only new-creation of those entries is gated until you resubscribe.

No refunds for unused portions: consistent with App Store / Play Store policy, no refund is issued for the unused portion of a billing period when you cancel.

Pricing

We will not raise the price of an existing Pro license or change the price for users with an active Collector+ subscription. Future pricing changes apply only to new purchases. If we ever change Collector+ pricing for new subscribers, your existing subscription continues at the price you signed up at.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We don't have direct refund authority over App Store / Play Store transactions.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI features (photo identification, AI Pre-Grade, value estimation) are provided as a convenience and are not authoritative. Real grading should be done by an authorized grading service. Real appraisal should be done by an authorized appraiser. Live pricing data is sourced from public marketplaces and may be inaccurate.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRL Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, to attempt to bypass security mechanisms, or to reverse-engineer the App except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the App release notes.
