Cardbase missing your card for a month? We use live eBay, not a stale DB.

AssetVault skips the catalog database. Scan a card, photograph it, or import your Cardbase CSV — live eBay sold listings give you real market prices instead of last quarter's cache.

⚡ The structural reason

No ad networks. No selling your collection data. We can't — we don't have it.

Cardbase runs on a free + ad-supported model. AssetVault's inventory lives in SQLite on your phone — there is no AssetVault server holding your collection, nothing to feed an ad network with, nothing to sell to data brokers. The only network calls are AI photo ID (just the photo, opt-in) and live eBay pricing (just the item name). Everything else stays local.

The Cardbase pattern you know

"600+ PSA cards uploaded — a good number aren't mapped and have no price feed." — Cardbase user, Trustpilot
"2-month wait for user-submitted cards to get reviewed into the DB." — Blowout Forums thread
"Two or three app updates in a year. Support emails go weeks without reply." — Cardbase review, App Store

What AssetVault does differently

No catalog to wait for. You add the cards you own. AI photo identification (Collector+) reads set + name + variant from the card itself. If the AI misses, you fill in the fields manually — one time, done forever.

Live eBay pricing. When you view a card's detail, we query eBay sold listings in real time. No "price feed missing" message.

AI Pre-Grade (Collector+). Pre-submission grading assessment against PSA rubrics with confidence score. Decides whether a $60 submission is worth it before you ship the card.

Your data, your phone. Local SQLite. No mandatory account. Full CSV + JSON + photos export anytime.
